Jesse Jacobs

Jesse Jacobs was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, and now draws comics and things from his home in London, Ontario. He has worked on the Cartoon Network show Adventure Time and has appeared in the 2012 and 2013 editions of Best American Comics.

Jesse is known for highly stylized fantastical and geometric works like By This Shall You Know Him and Safari Honeymoon. His latest book is Crawl Space - about a teenage girl who discovers that the washer and dryer in her parents' new suburban home are a portal to another world. Crawl Space won The Doug Wright Canadian Cartooning Award for “Best Book” in 2018. His drawings have appeared in The New York Times, The Pitchfork Review, McSweeney’s Quarterly, and Le Monde Diplomatique. Jesse has recently entered the world of video game design, with his first project – Spinch.
