Courtney Ward-Zbeetnoff
Courtney Ward-Zbeetnoff is currently pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Victoria, with a focus on creative nonfiction. She is a recent graduate of Western University, where she received her Honours Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing. Courtney is inspired by organizations that help bring local communities together through the arts and she strives to encourage youth involvement. Courtney is an enthusiastic and accomplished writer, with a special interest in creative nonfiction. She was recently shortlisted for the 2020 National Bridge Prize in Fiction, and her poetry and prose have been published in local and international literary magazines.
