Jennifer Wenn
Jennifer Wenn is a trans-identified writer and speaker from London, Ontario. Her first poetry chapbook, A Song of Milestones, was published by Harmonia Press. Upcoming this fall is her first full-size collection, Hear Through the Silence (from Cyberwit). She has also written From Adversity to Accomplishment, a family and social history; and published poetry in WordCity Literary Journal, The Ekphrastic Review, The Stratford Quarterly, Beliveau Review, Journey of the Heart, Shot Glass Journal, Poetry Pause, Watchyourhead, Open Minds Quarterly, Tuck Magazine, Synaeresis, Big Pond Rumours, Fresh Voices, Wordsfestzine, Museum London’s 80th anniversary exhibit, Cross Currents’ In Between the Lines exhibit and the anthologies Poems in Response to Peril, Dénouement and Things That Matter.
She has spoken at a wide variety of venues, including medical students at Western University, churches, schools, the Fierté Canada Pride Annual Conference, the Thames Valley District School Board’s Gay-Straight Alliance Conference, and the Annual Conference of the Ontario Occupational Health Nurses Association.
