David D. Plain


David D. Plain is an indigenous historian/author. His books have received critical acclaim, with one winning a prestigious publisher's award. David is a member of the Aamjiwnaang First Nation and has fully researched his nation's history and culture. Always a lover of history, he has devoted much time and effort to his family's genealogy and how it has affected the history of the Ojibwa of Aamjiwnaang. David has also been privy to the tutelage of the elders of the community. These sources have produced books on Ojibwa history and culture that are of the highest quality.
