Zahra is rooted in soul connection. As a storyteller, she draws latent knowledge out of the experiences she hears and shares with others. Her intimate energy with guests and audiences alike are taken from the traditional art of oral storytelling.
Zahra brings the same expressions from the heart to her work as a DJ. While working as a Program Director on London's CHRW 94.9 FM, she would spin records and wax poetic about the music on the air during lapses in programming. Listeners loved the aura she created on her afternoon drive time show, Lunar Rotations, and she gained recognition across the city. She started DJing at festivals, special events, opening for various acts coming through the city, and curating her own events. As a performer, her intention is to expand and advocate for the musical community in the city of London.
