Creating One Page Stories Daily Through Comics: A Workshop with Christopher Runciman
Sunday, 12 November, 2PM - 4PM
TAP Centre for Creativity
In this workshop, Run-C-maN will use sequential art as a vehicle for telling short and long stories. He will take all one-page story suggestions that he receives from participants and turn out a new one-page story. Join us as he walks through his process to help you tell your own stories with comics and the graphic arts!
Run-C-maN (Christopher Runciman) has been writing and illustrating books since 2000. His work has been printed by a number of small press publishers. He works out of his home studio in London, Ontario Canada. He uses sequential art as a vehicle for telling short and long stories. Inspired by any suggestions or ideas that come his way, Christopher produces at least one finished page a day. He does this live Monday through Friday online. His work has been described as a whimsically experimental approach to a wide range of heterodox visual storytelling, masterfully handled, using a diverse array of media.
