As Colleening 2025 continues via Words YouTube and elsewhere, events will include AlvegoRoot Theatre’s remount of its original work, Colleening, inspired by the poet’s life and words.
Meanwhile, late next year, the 2025 James Reaney Memorial Lecture will look at her Lozenges: Poems in the Shapes of Things. We hope to publish a reprint of Lozenges as part of Colleening 2025.
More fun to come before her 100th on 29 December 2025 may see pop-up poetry readings, theatre, and an event in St. Thomas, where she grew up in the 1930s and 1940s. Thibaudeau fans will note the swimming pool observed in the poem she reads is in St. Thomas, with the poet, visiting from London c. 1980, surrounded by her extended family.
