Ruth Skinner works as an arts organizer, educator, and publisher in London, Ontario. She is currently working as Community Engagement and Outreach Coordinator for the School of Advanced Studies in the Arts and Humanities at Western University, where her focus is on supporting and developing public programming and community-focused initiatives with faculty and students. Her recent doctoral dissertation considered experimental publishing practices, artists' books, forensics and clairvoyance. Overall, her research, teaching and curatorial interests span artists' publishing and distribution practices; histories, theories of representation and spectatorship; digital and media literacy, archival practices and access; histories, theories of photography; artist-run culture in Canada; intersections of art, esotericism & forensics.
