Dr. Kate H. Choi is a family demographer, inequality scholar, and quantitative sociologist. Her research examines the nature, determinants, and consequences of social inequality. Her work focuses on determinants of partner selection and implications for inequality in future generations, inequality by race and socioeconomic status, and immigration experiences and their implications for socioeconomic integration in the destination country. She currently holds a SSHRC Insight Development Grant for her project investigating the impact of neighborhood context on physical wellbeing.
