Veda Hille

Veda Hille has been writing music, making records, and performing internationally since 1992. She is a classically trained pianist, art school drop-out, performance curator, self-taught singer, theatre interloper, and independent artist. She has released 22 albums, the latest being Little Volcano, a solo album that accompanies her new touring show. Other recent projects include Onegin (written with Amiel Gladstone), King Arthur’s Night (New World Theatre), Bakkhai (Stratford), and her acclaimed album Love Waves. In 2020 Veda has been the pandemic artist-in-residence at the Cultch in Vancouver, writing songs and finding ways to perform solo concerts and shows with her indefatigable theatre gang under covid restrictions. Veda is currently working on an album of songs written in quarantine, a new musical with Amiel Gladstone, and the score for Is My Microphone On?, a play by Jordan Tannahill set to premiere in 2021.
